孟培生,男,1937年生,云南省陆良县人,中专文化,退休干部。

1956-1976年在部队工作,1977-1996 年在企业工作,1996年退休后专心研习书法至今。现为中国书法家协会会员,中国艺术品收藏协会会员,中国书画研究会翰墨研究院院士,三希堂国际书画研究会终身会员,北京清大华文书画院理事,中华人民共和国日史编辑委员会诗书画院理事,中国国家书画院副主席,中华书画学会副主席,颜真卿书画研究院名誉院长,东方翰林书画院签约书画家。

书法作品多以自作诗联为载体,多次入选国内外大型书法展,赛,获等级奖多项,入编优秀典籍多部。获奖作品被有关部、院、馆收藏。

曾被有关单位授予中国当代文人书法家,感动中国·书坛名家之德艺双馨艺术家,中国艺术飞天奖杰出贡献人物,新中国书法最高荣誉奖,共和国诗书画功勋人物,感动中国杰出文化传承人,2014年北京APEC峰会最具影响力的书法名家等称号。

Meng Peisheng, male, born in 1937, is a native of Luliang County, Yunnan Province, with a technical secondary school education and a retired cadre.

He worked in the army from 1956 to 1976, and worked in an enterprise from 1977 to 1996. After retiring in 1996, he has concentrated on studying calligraphy until now. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Chinese Art Collection Association, an academician of the Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, a life member of the Sanxitang International Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, a director of the Beijing Qingda Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Institute, and the Poetry of the Japanese History Editing Committee of the People’s Republic of China. Director of the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, Vice-Chairman of the National Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, Vice-Chairman of the Chinese Society of Calligraphy and Painting, Honorary President of the Yan Zhenqing Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, and signed calligrapher and painter of the Oriental Hanlin Academy of Calligraphy and Painting.

Most of his calligraphy works are based on self-composed poetry couplets. They have been selected for many large-scale calligraphy exhibitions and competitions at home and abroad, won many grade awards, and have been included in many excellent classics. The winning works are collected by relevant ministries, institutes and museums.

He has been awarded by relevant units as a contemporary Chinese literati calligrapher, an artist who moved China, a famous calligrapher of virtue and art, an outstanding contribution figure of the Chinese Art Feitian Award, the highest honor award of new Chinese calligraphy, a meritorious figure of the Republic of China’s poetry, calligraphy and painting, and moved China’s outstanding cultural heritage.
